Cyclones and multicyclones

The cyclone is a dust collector with typical cylindrical shape. In it the flue gases are introduced in a tangential way in order to achieve a spiral motion, then, because of the action of the centrifugal force, the coarser dust will be discharged from the cyclone itself, while the gases will be redirected upwards.

In particular, referring to customer requests, we can realize single cyclones or coupled in parallel up to the true multicyclones, the equipment in which a series of cyclones is installed in parallel to have smaller dimensions that often, for this kind of equipment, means high performance.

Over the years, ATS developed its own technology in the construction of these devices, so we are able to provide adequate solutions to better optimize and pressure drop and efficiency required for each machine.
